भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. में मेवाड़ विश्वविद्यालय, चित्तौड़गढ़ के छात्रों का भ्रमण

ग्रामीण कृषि कार्य अनुभव (रावी) कार्यक्रम के तहत, भा.कृ.अनु.प.-भा.ग.अनु.सं., लखनऊ से बी.एससी. (कृषि) मेवाड़ विश्वविद्यालय, चित्तौड़गढ़, राजस्थान के 13 छात्रों के दल ने दिनांक 2 दिसंबर, 2020 को भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं., रहमानखेड़ा के प्रक्षेत्र, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी और खाद्य प्रसंस्करण प्रयोगशालाओं का भ्रमण किया। डॉ. शैलेन्द्र राजन, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., ने छात्रों को संस्थान की अनुसंधान उपलब्धियों के बारे में अवगत कराया। उन्होंने ग्राफ्टिंग विधियों, छत्र प्रबंधन, अमरूद में एस्पेलिएर वास्तुकला, आम के बागों में मुर्गी पालन, आम में अंतर-फसल, जीर्णोद्धार तकनीक, कीट एवं रोग प्रबंधन और उपोष्ण फलों के मूल्य वर्धित उत्पादों के बारे में भी बताया। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. नरेश बाबू एवं सहायक मुख्य तकनीकी अधिकारी, श्री अरविंद कुमार ने भारत सरकार के कोविड-19 दिशानिर्देश का पालन करते हुए छात्रों के भ्रमण का समन्वय किया।

Under Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme, a group of 13 students of B.Sc. (Ag) of Mewar University, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan came from ICAR-IISR, Lucknow and visited the experimental field, biotechnology and food processing laboratories of ICAR-CISH, Rehmankhera on December 2, 2020. Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH apprised the students about the research accomplishments of the Institute. He also highlighted about technologies like grafting methods, canopy management, espalier architecture in guava, integration of poultry in mango orchards, intercropping, rejuvenation technology, pest and disease management in mango, value added products of mango, guava, bael and aonla. Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Sri Arvind Kumar, ACTO coordinated the visit of students with observing the Covid-19 guidelines as directed by GOI.
