बांकुरा में निर्यात प्रसार पर प्रशिक्षण

बांकुरा पश्चिम बंगाल में नये आम पट्टी के रूप में उभरा है। बांकुरा जिला प्रशासन द्वारा 2000 जनजातिय महिलाओं की आजीविका को सुरक्षित करने के लिये आम्रपाली और मल्लिका के 300 आम के बागान लगाये गए। केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान लखनऊ अपेडा, कोलकाता की मदद से बांपुरा से आम का उत्पादन करने का प्रया स कर रहा है। बांकुरा के विभिन्न ब्लाकों में ताजे आम की गुणवत्ता का मूल्यांकन करने के लिए डी.जी.एम, अपेडा सी.आई.एस.एच लखनऊ तथा क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र, मालदा के वैज्ञानिकों ने आम के बागानों का भ्रमण किया। बाद में संस्थान ने 29 मई, 2016 को बांकुरा जिला प्रशासन तथा उपनिदेशक कृषि (फल), बांकुरा के सहयोग से निर्यात बढ़ाने हेतु प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यक्रम का वित्त पोषण अपेडा द्वारा किया गया। इस प्रशिक्षण में 55 आम उत्पादक, पंचायत के प्रतिनिधि गण तथा जिला प्रशासन के प्रतिनिधि सम्मिलित थे।

Bankura has emerged as new mango belt in West Bengal. Around 300 mango orchards of Amrapali and Mallika have been established by Bankura District Administration involving 2000 tribal women for ensuring their livelihood. ICAR-CISH, Lucknow is trying to initiate export of mango from Bankura with support from APEDA-Kolkata. A team comprising of DGM, APEDA and scientists from ICAR-CISH, Lucknow and ICAR-CISH-RRS, Malda visited mango orchards at different blocks of Bankura to assess the quality of fresh mangoes. Subsequently, Institute organized APEDA sponsored training programme on export promotion of mango on May 29, 2016 in collaboration with Bankura District Administration & Deputy Director of Agriculture (Fruits), Bankura. The programme was inaugurated by ADM (Development). Fifty five participants including mango growers, representatives of Panchayat, district administration were present in the training. It was decided to have a comprehensive project for supporting the established mango orchards for better livelihood opportunity of the Self Help Groups.
