Training of twelve UP DASP officers was organized by the ICAR-CISH, Lucknow during 14-18 Nov 2022. The training was inaugurated on 14th November 2022 by Dr. D. Pandey, Acting Director, ICAR-CISH in the presence of all the Heads of Divisions and other faculty members. During the period lectures and practical classes were arranged in various fields of horticulture. The topics covered during the training were variety development, production, protection and post harvest technologies of subtropical fruits besides natural farming and practical exposure to rejuvenation sites, espalier system of guava training, CISH-Mango museum, Processing laboratory and natural farming complex, etc. All the participants expressed satisfaction over the content and lesson plan of the training. The valedictory function of the training was held in the afternoon of 18th Nov 2022. The feedback was also recorded from various participants. The training was coordinated by Dr. Sushil Kumar Shukla, Pricipal Scientist of the Institute.
