बागवानी महाविद्यालय और अनुसंधान संस्थान, कोयम्बटूर के छात्रो का भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं. का भ्रमण

बागवानी महाविद्यालय और अनुसंधान संस्थान, तमिलनाडु कृषि विश्वविद्यालय, कोयम्बटूर (तमिलनाडु) के दो संकाय सदस्यों के साथ बीटेक (बागवानी) के 37 छात्रों के एक समूह ने अपने पाठ्यक्रम के देश भर के शोध संस्थानों के भ्रमण कार्यक्रम के भाग के तहत दिनांक 14.09.2019 को भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं. के रायबरेली रोड पर स्थित परिसर का भ्रमण किया। छात्रों को संस्थान की विकसित तकनीकों जैसे आम, अमरूद, बेल और जामुन की विकसित किस्मो, आम और अमरूद की अतिसघन बागवानी, जीर्णोद्धार, छत्र प्रबंधन के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. मुथुकुमार एम. ने छात्रों को संस्थान के जैव प्रौद्योगिकी से संबंधित गतिविधियों के विकास और उपलब्धियों के बारे में बताया। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. अशोक कुमार एवं सहायक मुख्य तकनीकी अधिकारी, श्री अरविन्द कुमार ने छात्रों के भ्रमण का समन्वय किया।

A group of 37 students of B.Tech (Horticulture) along with two faculty members from Horticulture College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) visited the RB road campus of the Institute on September 14, 2019 as a part of their course on All India Tour Program comprising of visits to research institutes across the country. The students were briefed about Institutes developed technologies like developed varieties of mango, guava, bael and Jamun, HDP of mango & guava, rejuvenation & canopy management. Dr. Muthukumar. M., Senior Scientist, elaborated the developments and achievements of biotechnology related activities of the Institute. Dr. Ashok Kumar, Principal Scientist and Mr. Arvind Kumar, ACTO, coordinated the visit.
