अमृत भारत महोत्सव के तहत वैज्ञानिक-कृषक संवाद बैठक
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ ने दिनांक 7 जनवरी, 2022 को उच्च उत्पादकता एवं आय हेतु उच्च-तकनीक बागवानी विषय पर एक वैज्ञानिक-कृषक संवाद बैठक का आयोजन किया। आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के तहत आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य किसानों को कृषि उपज, गुणवत्ता एवं उनके उत्पादों के बाजार मूल्य में सुधार हेतु कृषि प्रौद्योगिकियों में सुधार के बारे में जागरूक करना था। इसका उद्देश्य उद्यमियों को कृषि-व्यवसाय उद्यम के रूप में उच्च-तकनीक बागवानी का उपयोग करने के लिए प्रेरित करना भी था। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत डॉ. नीलिमा गर्ग, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प. कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ के उद्घाटन भाषण से हुई। उन्होंने सब्जियों में हाइड्रोपोनिक (मृदा-विहीन खेती) के महत्व एवं किसानों तथा हितधारकों की आय को दोगुना करने हेतु अमरूद की छत्र प्रबंधन तकनीकों के बारे में बताया। संस्थान के आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ आर.ए.राम ने किसानों के साथ आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मनाने के सन्दर्भ पर प्रकाश डाला। तत्पश्चात सब्जी विज्ञान के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डॉ. एस.आर. सिंह ने उच्च मूल्य वाली सब्जियों की खेती के लिए हाइड्रोपोनिक्स एवं एरोपोनिक्स के उपयोग पर व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने आने वाले समय में तेजी से बढ़ती आबादी का पेट भरने के लिए सब्जियों के बड़े पैमाने पर उत्पादन हेतु मृदा-विहीन सब्जियों की खेती की अपार संभावनाओं पर जोर दिया। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक (बागवानी) डॉ. कंचन कुमार श्रीवास्तव ने उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले अमरूद उत्पादन के लिए काट छांट की एस्पालियर प्रणाली विषय पर सभी श्रोताओं के ज्ञान को बढ़ाया। इस कार्यक्रम में फार्मर-फर्स्ट परियोजना से जुड़े लखनऊ के किसानों के साथ भारत के विभिन्न भा.कृ.अनु.प. के संस्थानों, विश्वविद्यालयों के वैज्ञानिकों, शोधार्थियोंवशिक्षाविदों सहित 80 लोगो ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. पी.बर्मन एवं डॉ.कर्म बीर ने किया।
ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized a Scientist-Farmer interaction meeting on the theme High-tech Horticulture for higher productivity and income on January 7, 2022. This programme was organized under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, with the aim of sensitizing the farmers about improved farm technologies for improving agriculture yields, quality and market value of their products. It was also aimed at motivating the entrepreneurs to use high-tech Horticulture as an agri-business enterprise. The programme was started with the inaugural address by Dr. Neelima Garg, Director, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow. She stressed the importance of hydroponic cultivation of vegetables and canopy management techniques of guava for doubling the income of farmers and stakeholders. The event started with the talk of Dr. R.A. Ram, Chairman of Amrut Mahotsav programme committee who highlighted the role of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav in augmenting farmers’ income. Dr. S.R. Singh, Principal Scientist of Vegetable Science, delivered a lecture on the use of hydroponics and aeroponics for the cultivation of high value vegetables. He emphasized on the immense potential of soilless vegetable cultivation for large scale production of vegetables to feed the rapidly growing population in the coming times. Dr. K.K. Srivastava, Principal scientist (Horticulture), enhanced the knowledge of all the audience on “Espalier system of training for high quality guava production”. The programme was attended by 80 participants including scientists, research scholars from various ICAR institutes along with farmers of Lucknow associated with the Farmer FIRST Project. The programme was coordinated by Dr. P. Barman and Dr. Karma Beer.
