Under Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav programme scheme farmers meeting and interaction session was organized by scientists of ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera at village Amethiya and Salempur of Kakori block in Lucknow district on 13.12.2018. More than 25 farmers were participated in this programme. Principal Scientists Dr. Naresh Babu and Dr. Subhash Chandra had aware to the local farmers to produce high value vegetables like cucumber, green pea, onion, tomato cauliflower, cabbage and flower crops like marigold and Gladiolus by scientific method and their advance selling in the market. Moreover, the seedlings of improved varieties of tomato (var. NS 285) and cabbage (var. Subra) plants (about 300 plants each) raised by the institute were also distributed to the participants. At the same time, he was also informed about proper preparation of land, plantation of seedlings and their maintenance. During the programme, Dr. Subhash Chandra and Dr. Naresh Babu suggested solution to the farmers problems.

मेरा गांव मेरा गौरव कार्यक्रम के तहत वैज्ञानिक-कृषक संपर्क कार्यक्रम

मेरा गाँव मेरा गौरव योजना के तहत 13.12.2018 को काकोरी विकास खण्ड के अंगीक्रत गांवों अमेठिया एवं सलेमपुर मे वैज्ञानिक - कृषक सम्पर्क कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में 25 से अधिक कृषको ने भाग लिया। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ नरेश बाबू (बागवानी) और डॉ सुभाष चंद्रा (कृषि विस्तार) ने स्थानीय कृषको को वैज्ञानिक पद्धति द्वारा विभिन्न सब्जियों जैसे की खीरा, हरी मटर, प्याज, टमाटर, पत्तागोभी, गोभी और पुष्पीय पौधे जैसे की गेंदा और ग्लेडियोलस का उत्पादन और बाजार में उनकी अग्रिम बिक्री के लिए जागरूक किया। इस अवसर पर प्रतिभागी कृषको को संस्थान द्वारा तैयार की गयी सब्जियों की उन्नत किस्म यथा टमाटर (प्रजाति एन.एस 285), एवं फूलगोभी (प्रजाति शुभ्रा) के पौधे (लगभग 300 पौध प्रत्येक) का वितरण किया गया और साथ ही भूमि की तैयारी, पौधरोपण एवं रोपित पौधों की उचित देखभाल के बारे में भी बताया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान वैज्ञानिक डॉ नरेश बाबू और डॉ सुभाष चंद्रा ने कृषकों के समस्याओं को सुना और उसके समाधान के उपायों को बताया।
