मुर्शिदाबाद में आम उत्पादकों की बैठक

संस्थान द्वारा कृषि निदेशालय (फल,) मुर्शिदाबाद के सहयोग से प्रगतिशील आम उत्पादकों की एक बैठक का आयोजन 28 मई, 2016 को किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का उदघाटन स्वामी विशोमयानंद जी (सचिव) राम कृष्ण मिशन आश्रम, (सरगाची) द्वारा किया गया। इस बैठक के दौरान 56 प्रगतिशील आम उत्पादक उपस्थित थे। स्वामी विशोमयानंद जी ने उदघाटन संबोधन दिया। जबकि डॉ. शैलेन्द्र राजन ने की-नोट एड्रेस किया। मुर्शिदाबाद जिले के आम में होने वाले उत्पादन तथा विपणन संबंधी समस्याओं के निदान के लिये प्रगतीशील उत्पादकों तथा वैज्ञानिकों के बीच संवाद का एक सत्र आयोजित किया गया। डॉ. गौतम राय, उप निदेशक कृषि (फल) ने मुर्शिदाबाद में होने वाले आम के उत्पादन तथा विपणन संबंधी विषय पर व्याख्यान दिया। डॉ. दीपक नायक ने अपने संबोधन में क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र मालदा द्वारा आम के संरक्षण तथा स्थानीय किस्मों के दस्तावेजीकरण संबंधी योजना पर संक्षेप में जानकारी दी।

Progressive Mango Growers Meet was organized by the Institute at Berhampore, Murshidabad on May 28, 2016 in collaboration with Directorate of Agriculture (Fruits), Murshidabad (West Bengal). The programme was inaugurated by Swami Viswamayananda Ji Maharaj (Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sargachi, Murshidabad). Fifty Six progressive mango growers were present in the meet. Swami Viswamayanand Ji delivered his inaugural lecture, whereas, key note address was delivered by Dr. S. Rajan. An interaction session between progressive growers and scientists was organized to understand their problems in production and marketing of mango at Murshidabad district. Dr. Goutam Roy, Deputy Director of Agriculture (Fruits), Murshidabad deliberated on problems of production and marketing of mango at Murshidabad district. Dr. Dipak Nayak addressed the mango growers and briefed the future plan of ICAR-CISH-RRS, Malda for conservation and documentation of local varieties of mango.
