Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi organized two days (February 26-27, 2023) Bundelkhand Krishi Mela evam Krishi Pradarshani at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Jhansi. Scientist and Technical Officer of ICAR- CISH participated and showcased institute technologies. The show was inaugurated by Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Agricultural Education & Research, Uttar Pradesh Shri Surya Pratap Shahi on February 26, 2023.Guava varieties Lalit, Lalima and Shweta, Bael varieties CISH B1 and CISH B2, grafted plants of mango and guava, processed fruit products, mango harvester, fruit fly trap, cherry tomato were big attraction for visitors at the institute stall. After inauguration of Krishi Mela and exhibition, Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Honorable Vice Chancellor of the university and senior officials visited the stall. More than 5000 visitors including officials from variou departments, farmers, women, students, youths visited the stall and benefited from the information on advance technologies developed by the institute. Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Shri. Arvind Kumar, ACTO recorded feedback from the visitors and addressed their queries regarding plant propagation, cultivation method, plant protection and processed products of fruits of mango, guava, bael and jamun. The Krishi Mela was concluded by Honourable DDG Dr. Udham Singh Gautam (Agricultural Extension), ICAR, New Delhi as Chief Guest on February 27 2023.
