Directorate of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh organized one day (June12, 2024) State Level Kharif Productivity Goshthi and Exhibition at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan Lucknow. Scientist and Technical Officer of ICAR- CISH participated and showcased institute technologies. The show was inaugurated by Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Agricultural Education & Research Uttar Pradesh Shri Surya Pratap Shahi on June12, 2024. Mango varieties viz Mallika, Amrapali, Arunika and Ambika, grafted plants of mango, guava and Beal, mango harvester, fruit fly trap, bio products and value added processed products of mango, guava, bael and aonla were made big attraction for visitors at the institute stall. After inauguration of Goshthi and exhibition, Honourable Minister of Agriculture Shri Surya Pratap Shahi, Minister of Agriculture (state) Shri Baldeo Singh Aulakh along-with senior officials of state department visited the stall. More than 2500 visitors including officials from various departments, farmers, women, students, visited the stall and benefited from the information on advance technologies developed by the institute. Dr. Naresh Babu, Principal Scientist and Shri. Arvind Kumar, ACTO recorded feedback from the farmers and solved their queries regarding plant propagation, cultivation and harvesting method and plant protection of mango, guava, bael and jamun.
