अमृत भारत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम के तहत वैज्ञानिक-कृषक संवाद बैठक
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ ने दिनांक 16 जुलाई, 2021 को अमृत भारत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम के तहत वैज्ञानिक-कृषक संवाद बैठक का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम के प्रारंभ में, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. आर.ए. राम ने संक्षेप में अमृत भारत महोत्सव कार्यक्रम के उद्देश्यों और किसानों को बागवानी फसल उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भर (आत्मनिर्भर) बनाने हेतु भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं. द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों के बारे में बताया। डॉ. शैलेंद्र राजन, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं. ने किसानों को सशक्त बनाने एवं उनकी आय बढ़ाने हेतु संस्थान की प्रौद्योगिकियों एवं पहलों का अवलोकन प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने किसानों को उत्पादन की लागत को कम करते हुए और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के संरक्षण के साथ-साथ अधिकतम लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए सर्वोत्तम प्रबंधन प्रथाओं और नवीन विपणन रणनीतियों को अपनाने का आह्वान किया। किसान प्रतिभागियों को उभरती हुई लाभदायक फसलों और उद्यमों जैसे हल्दी, अदरक, आम आधारित मुर्गी पालन, बागवानी फसलों के बीज उत्पादन एवं मशरूम की खेती के बारे में अवगत कराया गया। इसके अलावा निदेशक महोदय ने उद्यमिता एवं संसाधन साझाकरण को बढ़ावा देकर किसानों और ग्रामीण युवाओं को सशक्त बनाना, किसान उत्पादक संगठन और महिला स्वयं सहायता समूह बनाना, बीज गांवों का विकास करना, आम एवं अन्य फसलों में बेहतर आपूर्ति श्रृंखला प्रबंधन हेतु किसानों के कौशल में सुधार करने हेतु संस्थान द्वारा किये जा रहे हर संभव प्रयास के बारे में जानकारी दी। कार्यक्रम में लखनऊ जिले के नबीपनाह, ढाकवा, भदवाना एवं मोहम्मदनगर तालुकेदारी गाँव के लगभग 40 किसानों ने भाग लिया।
ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized a online Scientist-Farmer Interaction Meeting under ‘Amrut Bharat Mahotsav’ program on July 16, 2021. At the outset of programme, Dr. R.A. Ram, Principal Scientist briefly informed about objectives of the ‘Amrut Bharat Mahotsav’ program and the efforts being made by ICAR-CISH for making the farmers self-reliant (atmanirbhar) in horticultural crop production. Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH presented an overview of the CISH technologies and initiatives for empowering the farmers and augmenting their incomes. He exhorted the farmers to adopt best management practices and innovative marketing strategies for getting maximum returns while reducing the cost of production and conserving the natural resources. Farmer participants apprised about emerging profitable crops and enterprises like turmeric, ginger, mango-based poultry farming, seed production of horticultural crops and mushroom cultivation. He said that CISH is making all possible efforts for empowering the farmers and rural youth by promoting entrepreneurship and resource sharing, creating Farmer Producer Organizations and women’s Self-help Groups, developing ‘Seed Villages’, and improving farmers’ skills for improved supply chain management in mango and other crops. About 40 farmers from Nabipanah, Dhakwa, Bhadwana and Mohammadnagar Talukedari village of Lucknow district participated in this programme.
