पोषण वाटिका और वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-.केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ ने लखनऊ जिले के काकराबाद एवं मीठेनगर गांवों में दिनांक 17 सितम्बर, 2021 को पोषक-वाटिका अभियान और वृक्षारोपण अभियान सहित विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए और कृ.वि.के., धौरा (उन्नाव जिला) में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजरा वर्ष- 2023 के लिए पोषक तत्व मेगा सम्मेलन के तहत पौध वितरण एवं वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कृ.वि.के., धौरा में डॉ. शैलेंद्र राजन, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.सं-के.उ.बा.सं. ने कृषि महिलाओं, किसानों, आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं एवं लड़कियों (कन्या) को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने मोटे अनाज के एंटीऑक्सीडेंट गुणों एवं मानव स्वास्थ्य पर उनकी भूमिका के बारे में अवगत कराया। इस अवसर पर आम, अमरूद, आंवला, नींबू, बेल, सहजन, परवल, केला और ब्रोकली के 12,000 पौधे खेतिहर महिलाओं, लड़कियों और स्वयं सहायता समूहों के बीच वितरित किए गए। इसके अलावा अनुसूचित जाति के किसानों को फल फसलों, सहजन और विदेशी सब्जियों के वितरण और रोपण के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान 225 से अधिक महिलाओं सहित कुल 525 किसान सम्मिलित हुए। भा.कृ.अनु.प.-के.उ.बा.सं, क्षे.अनु.के. एवं कृ.वि.के., मालदा (पश्चिम बंगाल) में इफको और कृभको के सहयोग से पोषक-वाटिका और वृक्षारोपण पर अभियान आयोजित किया गया, जहाँ 15 लड़कियों एवं 45 कृषि महिलाओं को विभिन्न प्रकार के मोटे अनाज एवं स्वास्थ्य के लिए इसके महत्व के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान भा.कृ.अनु.प.-के.उ.बा.सं, क्षे.अनु.के. एवं कृ.वि.के., मालदा के परिसर में 60 पौधे लगाए गए और किसानों को 60 पौधे वितरित किए गए।
ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized various programs including Nutri-Garden Campaign and Plantation Drive in Kakrabad and Meethenagar villages of Lucknow district and distribution of plants and plantations drive a sensitization campaign at KVK, Dhaura (Unnao district) on September 17, 2021 under Nutricereals Mega convention for International Year of Millets 2023. At KVK, Dhaura; Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH addressed about 150 farm women, farmers, anganwadi workers and girls (kanya). He underlined about the antioxidant properties of millets and their role on human health. On this occasion, 12,000 saplings of mango, guava, aonla, lime, bael, drumstick, pointed gourd, banana and broccoli were distributed among the farm women, girls and Self Help Groups. A part from this, scheduled caste farmers were also empowered through distribution and plantation of fruit crops, drumstick and exotic vegetables. A total number of 525 farmers participated during the programme including more than 225 women. Campaign on Nutri Garden and Tree Plantation was also organized in association with IFFCO and KRIBHCO at the premises of ICAR-CISH, RRS & KVK, Malda (West Bengal), where 15 girls and 45 farm women were made aware about the importance of various types of millets and its benefits for the health. Sixty trees were planted in the campus of ICAR-CISH, RRS & KVK, Malda and 60 plants were distributed to the farmers.
