Under MGMG programme a Kisan Gosthi was organised by members of team- 4 at the Rasoolpur Village on 06-03-2017. The team members participated including Dr.(Mrs.) Neelime Garg, Sh. H.C.Verma and Dr. Barsati Lal. The venue was primary school Rasoolpur. The team visited the school Kitchen for observing the cleanliness during preparation of mid day meal. The kitchen was found neat and clean. The meeting was attended by more than 50 farmers (men & women). The team members also interacted with the children of Rasoolpur primary school. Dr. Neelima Garg gave a lecture on cleanliness hygiene & explained the benefits of cleanliness. Further, she talked on the role of value addition of fruits for enhancing the income of rural women and youth. The team members discussed about existing problems of farming and suggested the solution for the same. The farmers and farm women expressed their desire for training in post harvest & value addition of fruits. Such training may be organised in the fruit season. The seedlings of Bottle gourd , pumpkin and cucumber were also distributed among the farmers for better productivity and to enhance their income through the quality productions of vegetable crops.
