किसान मेला-सह-कृषि प्रौद्योगिकीय प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ में 30 नवंबर, 2017 को किसान मेला-सह-कृषि प्रौद्योगिकीय प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया गया। इसका आयोजन फार्मर्स फस्र्ट, सुनियोजित कृषि विकास केन्द्र, उपोष्ण बागवानी समिति तथा केन्द्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में किया गया जिसमें 450 किसान सम्मिलित हुए। इस किसान मेला का उद्घाटन डॉ. बी.एस. चूंडावत, पूर्व कुलपति नवसारी कृषि विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर डॉ. मथुरा राय, पूर्व निदेशक भारतीय सब्जी अनुसंधान केन्द्र, बनारस वाराणसी तथा डॉ. यू.एस. गौतम निदेशक अटारी, कानपुर विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे। इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. शैलेन्द्र राजन ने कहा कि किसानों के लिए उनकी आय का सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण श्रोत बागवानी हो सकता है। फार्मर्स फस्र्ट परियोजना के तहत मेरा गाँव मेरा गौरव कार्यक्रम के द्वारा किसानों की आय को दोगुना करने को ध्यान में रखते हुए संस्थान ने आम आधारित कुकुट फार्मिंग व्यवस्था प्रारंभ की है जो मलिहाबाद के चार गाँव में प्रसारित हो चुकी है। इसके तहत लगभग 100 किसानों की आय को दोगुनी करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा हैं। किसान मेला-सह-कृषि प्रौद्योगिकीय प्रदर्शनी के अवसर पर संस्थान ने 10 प्रगतिशील किसानों को सम्मानित किया जिन्होंने अपनी आय दोगुना या उससे अधिक की है। इस अवसर पर प्रगतिशील किसान, श्री शैलेन्द्र रघुवंशी ने बताया कि किस प्रकार उन्होंने नर्सरी उद्यमिता के द्वारा संस्थान के सहयोग से सफलता प्राप्त की है। इसके अलावा महाराष्ट्र के अमरूद उत्पादक श्री मानिक राव महावीर प्रसाद ने संस्थान के सहयोग से अपनी आय दोगुनी की है, ने भी सफलता की जानकारी दी । श्री उपेन्द्र सिंह जो एक सफल आम उत्पादक एवं उद्यमी हैं, ने भी फार्मर फस्र्ट परियोजना के अंतर्गत मोबाईल वैन से आम बेचे। इस अवसर पर फार्मर फस्र्ट डायरी तथा बागवानी प्रौद्योगिकीयों से संबंधित सूचना पैमफ्लेट और फोल्डर भी किसानों के लिये जारी किये गये।
Kisan Mela-cum-Agricultural Technology Exhibition was organized by ICAR-CISH, Lucknow on 30th November, 2017. More than 450 farmers hand held through Farmer FIRST and PFDC projects took part in the event. Kisan Mela-cum-Agricultural Technology Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. B.S. Chundawat, Former Vice-Chancellor, Navsari Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya along with Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow, Dr. Mathura Rai, Former Director, IIVR, Varanasi, Dr. U.S. Gautam, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Kanpur. Dr. Shailendra Rajan reiterated that horticulture remains the best option in fulfilling the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi towards doubling farmer’s income particularly in sub tropics. The farmers expressed their gratitude to the Institute and its mission mode program such as Farmer FIRST, Precision Farming Development Centre and Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav for providing technological back up for augmenting their income. Farmers hand held under Farmer FIRST project brought their produce (Vegetables, grafted plants, flowers, eggs, and poultry) for sale at the Exhibition. Institute has introduced a diversified horti-module viz., Mango based poultry farming which has spread to 4 villages in Malihabad and helped in doubling income to close to 100 farmers in 8 months time. Institute honored 10 progressive farmers who could augment their income many fold through Institute’s initiative. During the occasion Mr. Shailendra Raguvansi, progressive guava farmer narrated his success story of becoming a nursery entrepreneur through skill development provided by ICAR-CISH whereas Mr. Manik Rao Mahavir Prasad another guava farmer from Maharashtra who could double his income through guava orcharding in two years time with Institute’s intervention. Mr. Upendra Singh became a successful mango entrepreneur and sold his Dashehari mango using mango mobile van, a new initiative he got from Farmer FISRT project. Many pamphlets and folders containing information on horticultural technology and Farmer FIRST diary was inaugurated during the event.
