गौशाला द्वारा संस्थान को प्रदान की गई चार गायों का अंगीकरण
आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के प्राकृतिक खेती हेतु आवाहन की दिशा में भाकृअनुप-केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान के फलस्वरूप बसंत पंचमी के शुभ दिन पर लखनऊ जनपद में नगराम के पास कनेरी गौशाला से 4 निराश्रित गोवंश को संस्थान के राय बरेली रोड परिसर में अंगीकृत किया गया । इन गायों की मदद से संस्थान के राय बरेली रोड परिसर में प्राकृतिक खेती पर शोध को बढ़ावा मिलेगा । संस्थान की निदेशक डा. नीलिमा गर्ग ने आज गायों की पूजा अर्चना की और बताया कि संस्थान गत 20 वर्षों से जैविक खेती की दिशा में शोध कर रहा है और विभिन्न प्रकार के जैविक उत्पाद बनाने की विधियाँ विकसित की । संस्थान द्वारा सीआईएसएच बायोएनहांसर, सीआईएसएच- बायोजैपर एवं फल एवं सब्जियों के जैविक उत्पादन की विधियों का भी विकास किया । संस्थान ने अपने राय बरेली रोड परिसर को पूर्ण रूप से प्राकृतिक बनाने का निर्णय लिया है।
निराश्रित गायों को गौशाला से उलब्ध कराने में लखनऊ के मुख्य चिकित्साधिकारी डा. डी.के. शर्मा और उ.प्र. गौ सेवा आयोग के समन्वयक श्री राधे श्याम दीक्षित जी के साथ संस्थान के डा. सुशील कुमार शुक्ल के सक्रिय प्रयासों की अहम भूमिका रही । अगर आगामी वर्षों में विभिन्न भा. कृ. अनु. परिषद के संस्थान और राज्य कृषि विश्वविद्यालय और कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र द्वारा इसी प्रकार निराश्रित गो वंश को अंगीकृत कर लिया जाये तो देश में प्राकृतिक खेती की दिशा में जैविक उत्पादों को जुटाने में काफी मदद मिलेगी । कार्यक्रम का संचालन और समन्वयन डा. सुशील कुमार शुक्ल ने किया। कार्यक्रम में संस्थान के डा राम अवध राम, डा देवेंद्र पाण्डेय, डा. प्यारे लाल सरोज, डा आनंद कुमार सिंह, डा. हरि शंकर सिंह एवं डा अजय कुमार त्रिवेदी उपस्थित रहे।
In response to the call by Honorable Prime Minister of India, ICAR-CISH Lucknow intensified its experimentation on natural farming. The Institute on the auspicious day of Basan Panchmi adopted four cows provided by Cow Shelter located at Kaneri village near Nagram in Lucknow district. After transport of cows from Kaneri to Raebareli Road Campus of the Institute, puja rituals were performed by Dr. Neelima Garg, Director of the Institute. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neelima Garg highlighted the achievements of the Institute in the field of organic farming and preparation of organic inputs during the last 20 years. The institute has already developed CISH–Bioenhancer, Biozapper and the complete packages for organic production for various crops like mango, guava, vegetables, etc. The institute has already declared the Raebareli Road campus as a fully organic farm for research on natural farming and integrated farming system.
The support from Shri Radheshyam Dixit, Convener, UP Gau Seva Aayog and Dr. D.K. Sharma, Chief Veterinary Officer, Lucknow and active efforts of Dr Sushil Kumar Shukla, Principal Scientist, CISH proved fruitful in rehabilitation of stray cows towards the goal of natural and chemical free farming. If such efforts are made in future through other ICAR, SAUs and KVKs, it will bring a sea change in agriculture. The programme was coordinated by Dr. S.K. Shukla Principal Scientist and attended by Dr. R.A. Ram, Dr. D. Pandey, Dr. P.L. Saroj, Dr. A.K. Singh, Dr. H.S. Singh and Dr. A.K. Trivedi.
