स्थिर मधुमक्खी पालन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विशेष कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र, मालदा ने दिनांक 25.06.2019 को गोद लिए गए आदिवासी गांव में से एक सेराना गांव में स्थिर मधुमक्खी पालन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन किया। कार्यक्रम में बैठक में मुख्य अतिथि श्री सुब्रत मंडल (मुख्य महाप्रबंधक, नाबार्ड क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय, कोलकाता), और प्रो. रॉबर्ट स्पूनर हार्ट (प्रोफेसर, पश्चिमी सिडनी विश्वविद्यालय, ऑस्ट्रेलिया), श्री कृष्णेंदु नंदन (उपनिदेशक, बागवानी, मालदा), श्री सतीश कुमार सिंह (जिला विकास प्रबंधक, नाबार्ड, मालदा), श्री सुभाष मंडल (सचिव, मालदा बी-कीपिंग एंड हनी प्रोसेसिंग क्लस्टर इंडस्ट्रियल को-ऑपरेटिव सोसाइटी लिमिटेड) विशेष अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत, आदिवासी महिलाओं को एपिस सेराना के वैज्ञानिक मधुमक्खी पालन पर प्रशिक्षण और हैंडहोल्डिंग के माध्यम से सशक्त किया जाएगा। इसके लिए भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र, मालदा आदिवासी महिलाओ को अपने बागों में स्थिर मधुमक्खी पालन इकाई स्थापित करने के लिए 4 एपिस सेराना बॉक्स को 50 आदिवासी महिला मधुमक्खी पालकों को प्रदान करेगा। संस्थान आदिवासी महिलाओ को परिसर और बाग में प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम की श्रृंखला के माध्यम से प्रशिक्षित करेगा तथा जनजातीय गांवों के प्रत्येक क्लस्टर में सभी प्रकार के छोटे मधुमक्खी पालन उपकरणों के साथ एक सामुदायिक सुविधा केंद्र (सीएफसी) की स्थापना करेगा। भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र, मालदा और नाबार्ड ने इस पहल का विस्तार करने, मधुमक्खी आधारित उत्पादों का उत्पादन करके उनसे उचित मूल्य प्राप्त करने के लिए कुशल विपणन और शहद तथा अन्य उत्पादों का एक विशेष ब्रांड स्थापित करने निर्णय लिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में आदिवासी मधुमक्खी पालकों को इस विशेष कार्यक्रम के उद्घाटन के निशान के रूप में विशिष्ट अतिथियों द्वारा सेराना मधुमक्खी के बक्से भेंट किए। डॉ. दीपक नायक (वैज्ञानिक और प्रभारी, भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. क्षेत्रीय अनुसंधान केंद्र, मालदा) ने कार्यक्रम का समन्वय किया।
A special programme was inaugurated on 25.06.2019 to promote stationary beekeeping in Cerana, one of the tribal villages adopted by ICAR-CISH, RRS, Malda. The chief guest at this programme was Mr. Subrata Mandal (Chief General Manager, NABARD Regional Office, Kolkata), and Prof. Robert Spooner Hart (Professor, University of Western Sydney, Australia), Mr. Krishnendu Nandan (Deputy Director of Horticulture, Malda), Mr. Satish Kumar Singh (District Development Manager, NABARD, Malda), Mr. Subhash Mandal (Secretary, Malda Bee-Keeping and Honey Processing Cluster Industrial Co-operative Society Limited, Malda were present as special guest. Under this programme, tribal women will be empowered through training and handholding on scientific bee farming of Apes cerana. The ICAR-CISH, RRS, Malda will provide the 4 Apes cerana box to 50 tribal women beekeepers for establishing a stationary beekeeping unit in their orchards. Moreover, Institutes will also trained tribal women through a series of on-campus and on-farm training programme. A Community Facility Centre (CFC) with all sorts of small beekeeping equipments will be setup in every cluster of tribal villages. ICAR-CISH, RRS, Malda and NABARD decided to expended this initiative through producing quality bee-based products and will be also establishing a special brand for receiving their best price and superlative marketing. At the end of the programme, special guests presented Cerana bee boxes to tribal beekeepers as a mark of the inauguration of this programme. Dr. Deepak Nayak (Scientist and In-charge, ICAR-CISH, RRS, Malda) coordinated the programme.
