आम महोत्सव-2022 में भा.कृ.अनु.प.-के.उ.बा.सं. की प्रतिभागिता

Aam Mahotsav-2022 was organized at Awadh Shilpgram, Lucknow by Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Government of Uttar Pradesh during July 4-7, 2022.Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath ji inaugurated the Aam Mahotsav-2022 and visited ICAR-CISH stall. Hon’ble CM was accompanied by Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Exports and various other dignitaries. Director (I/c) Dr. Neelima Garg briefed Hon’ble CM about the mango varieties and hybrids displayed during the Aam Mahotsav especially about Ambika and Arunika mango varieties developed by ICAR-CISH which are very high in demand among the farmers and lots of farmers has already planted them in their field. Hon’ble CM interacted with Director (I/c) Dr. Neelima Garg and Dr. Ashish Yadav regarding the development of mango varieties having export potential and quicker transfer of technologies to the mango farmers. Later on, during the program, Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State(Independent Charge) Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Exports in his address highly appreciated the contributions of ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture in mango research and development. ICAR-CISH displayed 211 mango varieties and hybrids during Aam Mahotsav-2022.The showcasing of mango includes several commercial varieties, released mango hybrids of the country, farmers varieties, exotic varieties and hybrids under evaluation which will be future mango varieties. Motichoor, Rogini Zarda, Kharbuja, Chattisgarh Nandiraj, Hardil Azeez, Nazuk Badan, Pahilwan, Kuzza Seri, Bhadaiya Gola, Alif Laila, Afeem, Bir Pasand, Dalima, Larankoo, Elaichi, Lahutia etc. are some of the varieties attracting the visitors during Aam Mahotsav. Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Exports was the Chief Guest during the Valedictory Program of Aam Mahotsav-2022 on July 7, 2022. Hon’ble Minister presented award to CISH stall for displaying highest number of mango varieties.
