भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. द्वारा आम की विभिन्न किस्मों के कलम से पार्क का सुंदरीकरण

भा.कृ.अनु.प.- केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ ने पिछले 12 वर्षों में दशहरी, लंगड़ा, चौसा, अरुणिका, अंबिका आदि सहित आम की 25 से अधिक किस्मों को ग्राफ्ट कर विराट खंड -2 के गुलाब पार्क के सुंदरीकरण में मदद की। अब यह पार्क आम के पार्क के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है और आम के पौधे को देखने के लिए लोग दूर-दूर से पार्क में आते हैं। श्री वी.के. सिंह, वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता, पार्क का रखरखाव और प्रबंधन करते हैं। गर्मियों के मौसम में प्रत्येक रविवार को पार्क के सदस्यों द्वारा आम पार्टी का आयोजन किया जाता है। यह भी ध्यान देने योग्य बात है कि यह पार्क पूरी तरह से रासायनिक उर्वरकों से मुक्त है और पार्क में संस्थान के प्रयासों के माध्यम से जैविक तरीकों से पौधों का विकास किया जा रहा है। भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. के निदेशक डॉ. शैलेंद्र राजन ने बताया कि ग्राफ्टिंग तकनीकों के माध्यम से हम दुर्लभ आम किस्मो का संरक्षण पार्क में भी कर सकते हैं।

ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow gloried the Gulab park of Virat Khand-2 by grafting the more than 25 different varieties of mango including Dashehari, Langra, Chausa, Arunika, Ambika etc. in last 12 years. Shri V.K. Singh, Senior Advocate being maintained and managed the park. Now the park is famous by name of mango park and the people live far are visited to park to see the mango plants. In summer season, every Sunday the mango party has organized by members. It is also noticed that, this park are completely free from chemical fertilizers and through effort of ICAR-CISH, the plants are being grew in park by organic means. Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH told that through grafting techniques we can conserve rare mango varieties in park.
