भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. का अनुसूचित जाति के किसानों को सशक्त बनाने का प्रस्ताव

भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं. लखनऊ ने विभिन्न बागवानी आधारित उद्यम के माध्यम से अनुसूचित जाति समुदाय के निर्धन एवं भूमिहीन किसानों के आजीविका में सुधार हेतु दिनांक 05.02.2019 को मलिहाबाद ब्लॉक के 30 आमंत्रित अनुसूचित जाति के किसानों के साथ वैज्ञानिक-कृषक बैठक किया। कें.उ.बा.सं. के निदेशक डॉ. एस. राजन ने बताया कि संस्थान, भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद की अनुसूचित जाति उप योजना के तहत गरीबी रेखा के नीचे जीवनयापन करने वाले निर्धन एवं भूमिहीन किसानों के आय में उत्थान के लिए उन्नत तकनीकों के प्रदर्शन एवं प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से सुअर पालन, वर्मीकम्पोस्टिंग, मशरूम उत्पादन, पोषक-उद्यान, अनुबंध खेती और कच्चे आम के अतिरिक्त कृषि मूल्य संवर्धन में मदद करेगा। इसके अलावा संस्थान कृषि अपशिष्ट को सुअर के चारे में बदलने के लिए भी मदद करेगा। बैठक के दौरान किसानों ने अनुसूचित जाति के कृषको के लिए एक स्वयं सहायता समूह बनाने पर इच्छा जताई।

ICAR- Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow invited 30 schedule cast farmers of Malihabad block for Scientist-Farmer interaction meet on 05.02.2019. The main aim of this meeting was to be discuss the perk up the livelihood of the poor and landless farmers of scheduled caste community through various horticulture-based ventures. Dr. S. Rajan, Director-CISH interacted with invited farmers and told that, under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan of the Indian Council Agricultural Research, CISH will help in upliftment of living standard of landless, breathing below the poverty line scheduled caste farmers through demonstration and training of advanced techniques of pig farming, vermicomposting, mushroom production, nutri-garden, contract farming and on farm value addition of raw mango. The institute will also help to convert agricultural waste into pig fodder. During the meeting the farmers agreed to set up a self-help group of scheduled caste farmers.
