जय किसान जय विज्ञान सप्ताह के अंतर्गत भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं.,लखनऊ द्वारा विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ द्वारा सप्ताह भर चलने वाले जय किसान जय विज्ञान मिशन के अंतर्गत आयोजित कार्यक्रम के अवसर पर दिनांक 24 दिसंबर, 2021 को डॉ आर के पाठक, पूर्व निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ द्वारा एक विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम के शुरुआत में,डॉ. (श्रीमती) नीलिमा गर्ग, निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं., ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और जय किसान जय विज्ञान कार्यक्रम के औचित्य और उद्देश्यों को रेखांकित किया। इस अवसर पर डॉ. पाठक ने आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव के उत्सव में कृषि बंधुत्व की भूमिका पर व्याख्यान दिया। उन्होंने विभिन्न आउटरीच कार्यक्रमों में वैज्ञानिकों की सक्रिय भागीदारी द्वारा किसानों के दरवाजे तक नवीन कृषि प्रौद्योगिकियों के प्रसार पर बात की। उन्होंने वैज्ञानिकों को बागवानी उत्पादकों के सामने आने वाली विभिन्न समस्याओं को समझने एवं हल करने पर अधिक ध्यान देने,आत्मनिर्भर कृषि के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने एवं किसानों की आय को समयबद्ध तरीके से दोगुना करने का आह्वान किया। डॉ. पाठक ने बताया कि घटिया उपज गुणवत्ता, कीटनाशकों के अवशेषों की समस्या, भारी पर्यावरण प्रदूषण एवं उत्पादकों को उचित लाभ प्राप्त न होना भारतीय बागवानी उद्योग के सामने कुछ प्रमुख चुनौतियां हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बागवानी फसलों की प्राकृतिक और जैविक खेती घरेलू खपत और निर्यात के लिए कीटनाशक मुक्त और बेहतर गुणवत्ता वाले उत्पाद के अतिरिक्त लाभ के साथ ऐसी अधिकांश चिंताओं को स्थायी रूप से दूर कर सकती है।कार्यक्रम में लगभग 30 वैज्ञानिकों और अन्य हितधारकों ने भाग लिया। इस कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. आर.ए. राम, प्रभागाध्यक्ष, फसल उत्पादन विभाग एवं डॉ. अंशुमन सिंह, वैज्ञानिक द्वारा किया गया।
ICAR- Central Institute of Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow organized an expert lecture by Dr. R.K. Pathak, Ex-Director, CISH, Lucknow on December 24, 2021on the occasion of week-long Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan celebrations. At the outset, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelima Garg, Director, ICAR-CISH welcomed all the guests and underlined the rationale and objectives of the ‘Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan’ programme. On this occasion, Dr. Pathak delivered atalk on Role of Agriculture Fraternity in Celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. He remarked that a proactive participation of scientific fraternity in various outreach programs is the key to disseminating innovative farm technologies to the farmers’ doorsteps. He exhorted the scientific fraternity to pay greater attention to understanding and resolving the varied problems faced by the horticultural producers to achieve the goals of Atmanirbhar Krishi and doubling the farmers’ income in a time bound manner. Dr. Pathak observed that inferior produce quality, problem of pesticide residues, heavy environmental pollution and poor returns to the growers are some of the major challenges faced by Indian horticulture industry. He opined that natural and organic farming of horticultural crops could sustainably address most of such concerns with added benefit of pesticide-free and superior quality produce for domestic consumption and export. The programme was attended by more than 30 scientists and other stakeholders. This program was coordinated by Dr. R. A. Ram, Head, Crop Production division and Dr. Anshuman Singh, Scientist.
