ICAR-CISH Regional Research Station, Malda, W. B. organized a group meet with beekeepers of Malda district on 22.01.17 at Malda Beekeeping & Honey Processing Industrial Co-operative society Ltd in the presence of Dr. R. K. Thakur (Project Coordinator, AICRP on Honey Bee and Pollinators, IARI, New Delhi), Dr. S. K. Shukla (Principal Scientist, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow), Dr. Dipak Nayak (Scientist & In-charge, ICAR CISH Regional Research Station, Malda) and others. Very fruitful discussion was held on problems of beekeeping and their probable solutions and away forward. More than 15 progressive beekeepers attended the meet and urged to ICAR-CISH Regional Research Station, Malda for technical support in scientific beekeeping and honey processing.
