A walkathon on incubation programme named Udyanoday-1 of ICAR-CISH Lucknow was organized by ICAR-CISH, Lucknow at Integral University on 4th January, 2024. The event was coordinated by Dr. Saba Siddiqui, Head of the Department Faculty of Agriculture Integral University, Lucknow. The programme was led by Dr. Ravi S.C. and Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta, Scientists and Co-PIs Hort-Ind Agri-Business Incubation Centre (ABIC) of ICAR-CISH, Lucknow. Dr. Ravi S.C. delivered a talk on Startups in Horticulture and briefed about the programme, Udyanoday-1. He emphasized that it is a well designed incubation programme for early stage startups and students to begin startups in horticulture. The walkathon was attended by more than one hundred students and shoed keen interest in the programme Udyanoday. Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta detailed that it’s a one year incubation programme which includes thirty days intensive mentoring sessions from the experts from startups industry. He mentioned that the applications for the programme are opened from 29th Decemeber 2023 to 19th January 2024. Any interested student who has potential idea for startups can fill the application and join the programme he added.

केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान लखनऊ द्वारा 4 जनवरी 2024 को इंटीग्रल यूनिवर्सिटी में उद्यनोदय-1 नामक इनक्यूबेशन कार्यक्रम पर एक वॉकथॉन का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का समन्वयन विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. सबा सिद्दीकी, कृषि संकाय, इंटीग्रल यूनिवर्सिटी, लखनऊ ने किया।। कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व केंद्रीय उपोष्ण संस्थान लखनऊ के हॉर्ट-इंड एग्री-बिजनेस इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर (एबीआईसी) के वैज्ञानिक और सह-अन्वेषक डॉ. रवि एस.सी. और डॉ. आलोक कुमार गुप्ता ने किया। डॉ. रवि एस.सी. ने बागवानी में स्टार्टअप पर एक व्याख्यान दिया और कार्यक्रम, उद्यानोदय-1 के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यह शुरुआती चरण के स्टार्टअप और छात्रों के लिए बागवानी में स्टार्टअप शुरू करने के लिए यह एक बहुत अच्छी पहल हैं । वॉकथॉन में सौ से अधिक छात्र एवं छात्राओं ने भाग लिया और उद्यानोदय कार्यक्रम में गहरी रुचि दिखाई। डॉ. आलोक कुमार गुप्ता ने विस्तार से बताया कि यह एक साल का इनक्यूबेशन कार्यक्रम है जिसमें स्टार्टअप उद्योग के विशेषज्ञों के तीस दिनों के गहन परामर्श सत्र शामिल हैं। उन्होंने उल्लेख किया कि कार्यक्रम के लिए आवेदन 29 दिसंबर 2023 से 19 जनवरी 2024 तक खुले हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी इच्छुक छात्र जिसके पास स्टार्टअप के लिए संभावित विचार है वह आवेदन कर कार्यक्रम में शामिल हो सकता है।
