आगरा और हाथरस जिले में कृषक प्रशिक्षण और जागरूकता कार्यक्रम
सुनियोजित कृषि विकास केन्द्र (पी.एफ.डी.सी.), भा.कृ.अनु.प.-के0उ0बा0सं0, लखनऊ द्वारा टपक सिंचाई, प्लास्टिक मल्चिंग एवं संरक्षित खेती की उपयोगिता पर आगरा जिले में दिनांक 02.08.2018 को प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया था। इस कार्यक्रम में के.वी.के., उद्यान विभाग के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों सहित लगभग 55 किसानों ने भाग लिया। डा. वी. के. सिंह, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक एवं पी.आई. द्वारा पी.एफ.डी.सी. एवं संस्थान द्वारा विकसित तकनीकों पर विस्तृत रूप से चर्चा की गयी। जिनमें मुख्य रूप से टपक सिंचाई, प्लास्टिक मल्चिंग एवं संरक्षित खेती पर किसानों को प्रोजेक्टर की सहायता से तकनीकी फिल्मों एवं व्याख्यानों के द्वारा बागवानी में इन तकनीकों की उपयोगिता एवं महत्व के विषय में जानकारी दी गयी। उसके बाद किसानों द्वारा किये गये प्रश्नों का उत्तर दिया गया। किसानों के लिए यह कार्यक्रम बहुत ही सफल एवं उपयोगी रहा। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत दिनांक 03.08.2018 को हाथरस जिले में अमरूद की सघन बागवानी की स्थिति और प्रदर्शन का निरीक्षण एवं जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। आई.टी.सी. की मदद से इस जिले में लगभग 250-300 एकड़ क्षेत्र में अमरूद की ललित प्रजाति के पौधों को सघन बागवानी तकनीक को अपनाकर वृक्षारोपण किया गया है। प्रूनिंग तकनीक, सिंचाई की मात्रा एवं उचित पोषक तत्वों के उपयोग की कम जानकारी के कारण किसानों को बहुत सी समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। कुछ पौधे मरने की स्थिति में पाये गये परन्तु जड़ में नीमेटोड गाँठ दिखाई नहीं दे रही थी। अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले अमरूद को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रगतिशील किसानों को उचित सुझाव दिये गये।
Training program on drip irrigation, plastic mulching and importance of protected cultivation in horticulture crops was organized at KVK, Agra on 02.08.2018 by PFDC, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow. Nearly 55 farmers excluding staff of KVK, state horticulture department, senior faculty of horticulture department of RBS College, Agra participated in the event. Dr. V.K. Singh, Pr. Scientist & PI, PFDC, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow enumerated the technologies developed by PFDC, ICAR-CISH, especially on drip irrigation and plastic application techniques in the crops. Literature related to these topics were distributed besides, lectures on background of drip irrigation, advantage of drip irrigation, its working, laying out of drip line & lateral, care and management, maintenance of the system, fertigation filter etc. projected in technical films. The queries raised by the farmers were answered amicably. Along with programme, a survey and awareness programme was also conducted at Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh on 03.08.2018 to assess the status and performance of high density plantation guava by interacting with the farmers. It was observed that with the help of ITC high density plantation guava was spread in an area of 250-300 acre in this district alone. The common variety planted was Lalit and were in prolific flowering and fruiting. Farmers were facing several problems due to partial knowledge about the time and depth of pruning, application of appropriate nutrients and irrigation schedule for quality production. Bark splitting was recorded common in some of the orchard even in 3 years old plants. Some plants were found in the stage of dying but root knot nematode was not visible. Strategies for getting good quality guava were suggested to the progressive farmers.
