सैम हिगिनबॉटम कृषि, प्रौद्योगिकी एवं विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, प्रयागराज की छात्राओं का भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं. का भ्रमण

सैम हिगिनबॉटम कृषि, प्रौद्योगिकी एवं विज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय, प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश के तीन संकाय सदस्यों के साथ बी.एससी. (कृषि) की 77 छात्राओं के एक समूह ने अपने पाठ्यक्रम स्टूडेंट रेडी कार्यक्रम के तहत दिनांक 26 नवंबर, 2019 को भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., रहमानखेड़ा की प्रयोगशालाओं एवं प्रक्षेत्रों का भ्रमण किया। छात्राओं को संस्थान की विकसित प्रौद्योगिकियों जैसे आम, अमरूद, बेल और जामुन की विकसित किस्मो, आम और अमरूद की सघन बागवानी, जीर्णोद्धार, छत्र प्रबंधन, उपयुक्त अन्तः-फसल एवं संरक्षित खेती के बारे में बताया गया। डॉ. इसरार अहमद, वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक ने छात्राओं को जैव प्रौद्योगिकी की विभिन्न प्रयोगशाला प्रक्रियाओं के बारे में जानकारी दी। छात्राओं ने खाद्य प्रसंस्करण प्रयोगशाला का भी भ्रमण किया जहाँ पर इंजी. डी.के. शुक्ला ने छात्राओं को फल प्रसंस्करण के बारे में बताया। श्री सुभाष चंद्र, वैज्ञानिक, एसजी और श्री अरविंद कुमार, सहायक मुख्य तकनीकी अधिकारी ने छात्राओं के भ्रमण का समन्वय किया।

Under the course of student READY programme, a group of 77 girls students of B.Sc. (Agriculture) along with three faculty members from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh visited the laboratories and experimental fields of ICAR-CISH, Rehmankhera on November 26, 2019. The students were informed about developed technologies of the institute such as the developed varieties of mango, guava, bael and jamun, HDP of mango & guava, rejuvenation & canopy management, suitable intercrops and protected cultivation. Dr. Israr Ahmad, Sr. Scientist elaborated various laboratory procedures of biotechnology. The students were also visited the food processing laboratory where Er. D.K. Shukla underlined about fruit processing to the students. Shri Subhash Chandra, Scientist, SG and Mr. Arvind Kumar, ACTO coordinated the visit of students.
