One day exposure visit – cum – training programme, sponsored by Institute of Horticulture Technology, Greater Noida and ITC, Hathras, Aligarh, U.P. for 35 and 16 farmers, respectively, were conducted at the ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Rehmankhera, Lucknow on March 06 and 08, 2017 on High density plantation of guava and different management aspects was conducted. On these occasions Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director apprised the participants about significance contribution of the Institute besides informing about nursery management and the performance of guava varieties released from the Institute. Dr. V.K. Singh and Dr. Balaji Rajkumar also deliberated on all the aspects of high density plantation of guava and insect pest management. A field visit of PFDC experimental plot of high density plantation of guava, vegetable and Post harvest management laboratory was also arranged for participants.
