भा.कृ.अनु.प.- कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ में विश्व जल दिवस का आयोजन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-कें.उ.बा.सं., लखनऊ में दिनांक 22 मार्च, 2021 को विश्व जल दिवस मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर किसान गोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें अनुसूचित जाति उपयोजना के तहत गोद लिए गए लखनऊ के काकोरी एवं मॉल प्रखंड के गाँव के 30 किसानों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम की आरम्भ में, संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. शैलेन्द्र राजन ने विभिन्न उपलब्ध तकनीकों द्वारा वर्षा जल के संरक्षण की आवश्यकता के बारे में बताया और बागवानी फसलों (प्रति बूंद अधिक फसल) के उत्पादन में कुशल जल प्रबंधन की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक, डॉ. दिनेश कुमार ने उपोष्ण फलों (आम और अमरूद) के उत्पादन में टपक सिंचाई के महत्व एवं लाभों के बारे में बताया। डॉ. एस. आर. सिंह (प्रधान वैज्ञानिक) ने सब्जी उत्पादन में सूक्ष्म सिंचाई की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। किसानों के लिए बागवानी फसलों के उत्पादन हेतु जल के संरक्षण एवं सटीक उपयोग (टपक / स्प्रिंकलर तंत्र) तथा किसानों के सामने आने वाली समस्या को जानने के लिए प्रक्षेत्र भ्रमण एवं पारस्परिक विचार-विमर्श बैठक भी आयोजित की गईं। कार्यक्रम का समन्वय डॉ. दिनेश कुमार और डॉ. अशोक कुमार ने किया।
ICAR-CISH, Lucknow celebrated World Water Day on March 22, 2021. On this occasion, a Kisan Gosthi were organized. In which 30 farmers from SCSP adopted village of Kakori and Mall block of Lucknow were participated. At the outset of the programme, Dr. S. Rajan, Director, ICAR-CISH enlightened about the need for conservation of rain water by different available techniques and highlighted the role of efficient water management in production of horticultural crops (more crop per drop). Principal Scientist, Dr. Dinesh Kumar emphasised the importance and advantages of drip irrigation in production of subtropical fruits (mango and guava). Dr S. R. Singh (Principal Scientist) highlighted the role of micro-irrigation in vegetable production. The field visit and interaction meetings were also organised to know the problem faced by farmers for conservation and precise use (drip/sprinkler system) of water for production of horticultural crops.
