विश्व मृदा दिवस -2021 का आयोजन
भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केन्दीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, रहमानखेड़ा लखनऊ द्वारा दिनांक 5 दिसम्बर 2021 को लखनऊ के काकरबाद ग्राम में विश्व मृदा दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। इस वर्ष विश्व मृदा दिवस के आयोजन का विषय “मिट्टी को ऊसर बनने से रोकना और फसल की उत्पादकता बढाना” विषय पर था। इस अवसर पर केन्दीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डॉ. सुशील कुमार शुक्ल ने किसानों को गाय के गोबर और गोमूत्र से विभिन्न जैविक उत्पाद यथा जीवामृत, अमृतपानी, वर्मीकम्पोस्ट, नाडेप, बायोडायनमिक कम्पोस्ट, वर्मीवाश, पंचगव्य आदि बनाकर मृदा के स्वास्थ्य को संरक्षित रखने और फसल की उत्पादकता बढ़ाने के बारे में बताया। डॉ. दिनेश कुमार ने गांव के किसानों को कृषि उत्पादकता बढाने में विभिन्न पोषक तत्वों की उपलब्धता बनाये रखने के उपायों की चर्चा की । वैज्ञानिकों ने बताया पृथ्वी पर एक महत्व पूर्ण संसाधन मिट्टी है जो प्रत्यक्ष रूप से वनस्पतियों और धरती पर मानव जाति तथा पशुओं का अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से पोषण करती है। आज के आधुनिक युग में रासायनिक खादों, कीटनाशक दवाइयों, औद्योगिक कचरों आदि द्वारा छोड़े गये जहरीले तत्वों के माध्यम से मृदा प्रदूषित हो रही है जो बुरी तरह भूमि के स्वास्थ्य और उर्वरता को नष्ट कर रहा है।
इस अवसर पर संस्थान के वैज्ञानिक एवं अनुसूचित जाति उपयोजना के नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. विशम्भरदयाल ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया और कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया । इस कार्यक्रम में गांव के लगभग 70 किसानों और महिलाओं ने भाग लिया।
ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow celebrated World Soil Day-2021 at Kakrabad village of Lucknow district on December 5, 2021. The theme of the World Soil Day-2021 was “Halt soil salinization and enhance soil productivity”. On the occasion, the principal scientists of the Institute Dr SK Shukla and Dr Dinesh Kumar discussed the importance of soil for agriculture and also discussed with the farmers, the methods of preparing various organic inputs like jeevamrit, amritpani, vermicompost, NADEP compost, biodynamic compost, vermiwash, panchagavya, etc. The application of these inputs in soil will go a long way in maintaining soil health and enhancing crop productivity. On the occasion, Dr Dinesh Kumar apprised the farmers of the importance and enhancing the availability of various macro and micronutrients through judicious application of manures and chemical fertilizers. Soil is the most important and resource for supporting human as well as all forms of life on the earth. Indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and various industrial pollutants are polluting the soil very fast, they added.
The programme was conducted by Dr Vishambhar Dayal, Scientist & Nodal Officer, SCSP. He also proposed formal vote of thanks to one and all. The programme was attended by more than 70 farmers including farm women.
