Twenty five Farmers including one official from Bairaha village, Bathnaha block of Sitamarhi district of Bihar visited ICAR-CISH on June 05, 2024. The visit of farmers was sponsored by ATMA, Sitamarhi. Farmer were apprised about high density planting of mango & guava, Rejuvenation and canopy management of mango & guava, integrated management of insects & diseases, intercropping in mango & guava and Importance of mulching and drip irrigation in fruit crops. They also visited the experimental farm of the institute and interacted container farming, espalier system of quality fruit production of guava, fruit bagging in mango and protected cultivation of vegetables. Dr.Naresh Babu & Mr. Arvind Kumar coordinated the visit.
