बंगाल आम महोत्सव-2018

भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केन्द्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, क्षेत्रीय अनुसन्धान संस्थान, मालदा (प.बं.) ने दिनांक 08-10 जून, 2018 को कोलकाता के मेला ग्राउंड, न्यू टाउन में आयोजित बंगाल आम महोत्सव-2018 में आम की 130 महत्वपूर्ण पारंपरिक किस्मों का प्रदर्शन किया गया। केन्द्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान द्वारा संरक्षित, आम के समृद्ध संग्रह एवं विविधता ने आम प्रेमियों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित किया। गदाधर आम की किस्म (1.75 किलोग्राम) विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रही। संस्थान द्वारा विकसित आम की किस्म अरुणिका ने आम उत्पादकों को विशेष रूप से आकर्षित किया। विदेशी प्रतिनिधियों ने भी निर्यात के लिए आम की उपयुक्त किस्मों में रुचि ली। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार के मंत्रियों और विदेशी प्रतिनिधियों की उपस्थिति में हुआ।

ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture-Regional Research Station, Malda, W.B. showcased ever best collection of 130 traditional varieties of mango in Bengal Mango Utsav -2018 held at Mela Ground, New Town, Kolkta during 08-10 June, 2018. The rich collection of CISH has attracted huge mango lovers to witness the rich diversity of mango, where mango lovers were surprised to see Gadadhar (a gigantic mango of 1.75 kg in weight) and attracts huge fellow visitors. Among the our hybrids, Arunika has received attention of mango growers. Foreign delegates also took interest in exploring suitable varieties of mango for export. The programme was inaugurated in presence of galaxy of Ministers of Govt. of West Bengal and foreign delegates.
