ग्रामीण युवाओं के लिए कृषि शिक्षा
कृषि शिक्षा दिवस को आईसीएआर-सीआईएसएच, लखनऊ द्वारा ग्रामीण छात्रों के बीच मल्लीहाबाद, उत्तर प्रदेश के नबी पनाह में मनाया गया। युवाओं को कृषि शिक्षा एवं उसके विभिन्न पहलुओं से परिचित कराने के लिएवैज्ञानिक, प्रगतिशील किसानों और शिक्षकों ने गोल्डन जुबली स्कूल में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। छात्रों को कृषि, जैविक खेती आदि के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के बारे में सिखाया गया। कृषि के ग्रामीण युवाओं को कृषि मेंप्रोत्साहित करने के लिए फार्मर फर्स्ट गांव में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। दो गैर सरकारी संगठनों अवध आम उत्पादक एवं बागानी समिति और सोसाइटी फॉर कन्जर्वेशन ऑफ मैंगो डायवर्सिटी ने भी इस कार्यक्रम मेंभाग लिया। केंद्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान रहमान खेड़ा के वैज्ञानिकों एवं समुदाय आधारित संगठनों ने छात्रों को कृषि शिक्षा के विभिन्न पहलुओं के बारे में जानकारी दी तथा बैंक, कृषि विभाग, राज्य कृषिविश्वविद्यालयों, भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान परिषद एवं प्राइवेट क्षेत्र में कृषि विद्यार्थियों के लिए बढ़ते हुए अवसरों के बारे में जानकारी पर चर्चा की।
In order to make young children acquaint about agriculture education, scientists of ICAR-CISH, progressive farmers and teachers organized a sensitization program at Golden Jublee School at Nabi Panah (Malihabad). Director of the Institute stressed on importance of agriculture education in improving health and wealth of the nation. Students were taught about the various fields of agriculture, organic farming etc. The program was organized in Farmer FIRST village to encourage rural youth in agriculture. Two NGOs Awadh Aam Utpadak Bagwani Samiti and Society for Conservation of Mango Diversity also participated in the event. Scientist from the ICAR-CISH along with the local members of the community based organization organized awareness programme and explained the students about the prospects and requirements for the career in Agricultural Sciences. This steam of education can make them ready for available opportunities in banks, agriculture departments, state agriculture universities, ICAR and not the least in the increasing number of private companies working on production of agricultural inputs.
