ज्ञानार्जन हेतु बांदा के छात्रों का सीआईएसएच भ्रमण

बांदा कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय में संचालित फल प्रजनन पाठ्यक्रम के छात्रों (45) ने ज्ञानार्जन हेतु दिनांक 21.04.2018 को भा.कृ.अनु.प.-केन्द्रीय उपोष्ण बागवानी संस्थान, लखनऊ का दौरा किया। छात्रों ने पपीते के ट्रांसजेनिक क्षेत्र में हुई प्रगति और फसलों के सुधार के लिए आणविक प्रजनन के उपयोग में रुचि दिखाई। संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. शैलेंद्र राजन ने कहा कि बांदा विश्वविद्यालय में फल प्रजनन पर पाठ्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है जिसमें भारत में उगाए जाने वाले प्रमुख फलों के प्रजनन के विभिन्न पहलुओं को शामिल किया गया है और छात्रों हेतु यह एक्सपोजर विज़िट नई किस्मों को तैयार करने वाले व्यावहारिक और वैज्ञानिक पहलुओं को समझने में सहायक होगी

The students (45 nos.) attending fruit breeding course at Banda University of Agriculture and Technology visited ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow on 21.04.2018 to update their knowledge. The students were interested in knowing the recent developments in the area of transgenic in papaya and use of molecular breeding for improvement of fruit crops. Dr. Shailendra Rajan, Director (CISH) said that the university was offering fruit breeding course which covers various aspects of breeding of major fruits grown in India and this exposure visit is helpful in understanding practical and scientific aspects crafting new varieties.
