Characters

• Variety CISH-P-5 having vigorous plant with long vine, angular stem, cordate type green leave with coiled tendril.
• Variety is dioecious in nature, striped green fruit with cream colour flesh suitable for long distance transportation.
• This variety was found superior (48.34% higher yield  over national check kashi Alankar and 27.91% over local check during testing at ICAR-CISH Lucknow evaluated during 2018,2019, and 2020.
• Variety is heavy bearer, large fruit, with better appearance (creamy flesh) and good acceptability both by the growers and the consumers.
